This week, we've been making cord with a lucet, dyeing silk ribbon with natural dyes, spinning yarn, needlefelting gnomes and crocheting afghans and gloves! Just finished a Tunisian-crocheted neckwarmer from my handspun yarn. I love my Tunisian hooks!

Knitting and Spinning and Crocheting and Felting.....

Wow! Fall is here which means cold weather...which means lots of fiber arts going on. In our home, we are busy crocheting and knitting scarves for holiday gifts. We have been spinning up yarns for orders on Etsy. And, we have really gotten into needlefelting as a family this month!

As part of our homeschooling, the kids and I have gathered left over bits of fibers, carded them up, and then needlefelted them into different type of fruits and vegetables. My youngest is learning how to count money, add and subtract, so my daughter made a beautiful little grocery store, full of the felted produce to play with! Lots of fun.

At Gosh Yarn It!, we are busy stocking the shop full of lovely knitting needles, magazines, spindles, and gorgeous cases and totes, just in time for the holidays!
